Continuing, the series on favorite shlokas from various teachers of the Bhagavad Geeta. Here is Professor V. Krishnamurthy, a well known teacher of Vedanta. Prof V Krishnamurthy was the second keynote speaker at the International Gita Forum held on October 22, 2011 as part of the Singapore Gita Jayanti 2011-12 celebrations.
He picked 3-30 which we have seen many times on this blog:
मयि सर्वाणि कर्माणि संन्यस्याध्यात्मचेतसा |
निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वरः ||३-३०||
mayi sarvaaNi karmaaNi sa.nnyasyaadhyaatmachetasaa .
niraashiirnirmamo bhuutvaa yudhyasva vigatajvaraH .. 3\-30..
Renouncing all actions in Me, with the mind centered on the Self, free from expectation and egoism (ownership) , free from (mental) fever, fight!
