Continuing the posts on the glory of the Lord's vishwarūpa, I present this composite image that shows El Gordo, a “monster galaxy cluster” from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory. Recall Arjuna’s statement in 11-11:

अनादिमध्यान्तमनन्तवीर्यमनन्तबाहुं शशिसूर्यनेत्रम् |
पश्यामि त्वां दीप्तहुताशवक्त्रं स्वतेजसा विश्वमिदं तपन्तम् ||११-१९||
anādimadhyāntam anantavīryam anantabāhuṁ śaśisūryanetram paśyāmi tvāṁ dīptahutāśavaktraṁ svatejasā viśvam idaṁ tapantam 11.19

I see You without beginning, middle, or end; infinite in power; of endless arms; the sun and moon as Your eyes; the burning fire Your mouth, heating the whole universe with Your radiance.

According to an article by Charles Q. Choi at Space.com:

The monster galaxy cluster has a mass about 2 quadrillion (that's 2 followed by 15 zeroes) times that of the sun, making it "the most massive known cluster in the distant universe."

The Lord's vishwarūpa, or cosmic form, through such amazing pictures accessible at my finger tips, is the Śrī Kṛṣṇa's Valentine's day gift. He is the Cosmic Lover everyday!

Geeta Dhyānaṁ 2 - Vyāsā's Vast Intellect

January 7, 2013 Previously on Geeta Jayanti, I had posted on the eternal debt of gratitude to Mother Geeta that is the basis of Geeta Dhyānaṁ. I love Param Pujya Gurudev 's commentary on the Geeta Dhyānaṁ. August 9, 2012 Swamini Vimalanandaji has done a series of talks at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) called "406 SMS – Sure Mantras for Success from Bhagwad Geeta" (item 406 at this AMA link ). In this she has a very interesting take on the 1st line of the Bhagavad Geeta. धर्मक्षेत्रे कुरुक्षेत्रे १-१ dharmakShetre kurukShetre 1-1 <i> on the holy plain of Kurukshetra... </i> Swamini turns that slightly and says, क्षेत्रे क्षेत्रे धर्म कुरु - kShetre kShetre dharma kuru.
